The Israeli war on Gaza entered its 317th day on Sunday, as the Israeli army continued its land, air and sea attacks on various areas in the Strip, with the attacks focusing on populated areas and the vicinity of shelters for the displaced.
The Israeli occupation army announced on Sunday evening in a statement that "the 98th Division has expanded the scope of its operations in Khan Yunis in the last day, and the forces have reached the entrances to the city of Deir al-Balah (for the first time since the beginning of the war)."
The Israeli air force launched a series of raids on various areas in the Strip, as Israeli aircraft bombed residential apartments in the Jabalia camp, and the bombing targeted homes in Deir al-Balah, and homes in the Nuseirat camp, which resulted in dozens of martyrs and wounded.
The Israeli artillery renewed its demolition of homes and shelling of residential areas, as artillery shelling targeted the southwestern areas of Gaza City this morning, the Zeitoun neighborhood, the Abasan al-Kabira area east of Khan Yunis, the town of al-Qarara and the city of Hamad.
Amidst the shelling and raids, thousands of families continue to flee the Strip as the Israeli authorities issue new evacuation orders, with no safe place to go.
UNRWA explained that Israel has reduced the "humanitarian zone" to only 11% of the Gaza Strip, causing chaos and fear among the displaced.
